- The Mid-term of our working group WG04 will take place in Chile, deadline for submissions is 20th of September.

We would like to ask ISA WG04 board members to serve as abstract reviewers. Please reply to me and Magda Gil mogil@uc.cl if you would agree to review abstracts for the Mid-term conference. It is very important to have an international scientific board, and this should not take much of your time. Even if you can’t travel to Chile, your help would be greatly appreciated!
The mid-term was promoted via ISA channels and via the ISA WG04 members list, but it would be very useful to promote it via your personal professional networks. In the attachment, please find text that you can use for social media. Please help us to encourage more applications.
- For the ISA World congress in South Korea in July of 2027 there is a possibility to apply for the integrative sessions.
Proposals for Integrative Sessions, bringing together perspectives from different areas of sociology around common questions, can be submitted until 28 September.

These sessions should be proposed by at least 3 RC/WG/TG. Please let me know if you have proposals. Only 10 such sessions will be selected overall.

The deadline is the 14th of October. Please do not forget to apply if you can make it to South Korea. Also, it is advisable to book hotels early, as I have heard that there are not many options available. Please also encourage your colleagues and junior researchers to apply. We will have some registration grants available.
